Fueling Up

All Hummers captured with the Wingscapes BirdCam Hungry female. Cool, huh?

Immature male... with the start of his ruby gorget coming in...
The bonus is that the Wingscapes BirdCam captures all the action when we might not be checking out the feeders.

And, this is the time of year in Maryland when a lonely, foreign, out of place Hummingbird shows up at someone's sugar water.
Maybe a Calliope.
Maybe a Rufous.
Maybe a Black-chinned.
I can't wait to get home to the LoveNest and download today's action!

Nervous Birds said...

Sunday morning looks ripe for some crazy birds. I've decided to cover the AA County shoreline region from sunrise until ??? Looking at the storm's track, it might be arriving during the night on Saturday (I'll be playing a wedding that evening in Annapolis). In any case, I've got an itin that is fairly safe, should provide excellent views and IF any sea birds get caught up in the wind and pushed up the bay... we'll be on 'em.

The more eyes the better. What do you say? Are you interested?
