Warren's Dad, also known as Papa Carl and "the old Aeronaut," passed these photos on some weeks ago. These hand paintings look *incredible* and take hours and hours to do. The person who does these also does beautiful hand paintings of tigers, dogs and such. But hey, we're a birding blog.
We wish we had more information about the artist, but we do not. Maybe someone out there can help?
